That's what I've decided to call it - cutie cabbage. You might find it in the store under the name "brussel sprout," but doesn't it sound a lot more palatable with its new name? This is the best way to eat these - EVER. I'm not even kidding. If you have ever had the frozen then boiled/steamed/mushed variety of brussel sprouts - then I don't blame you for not liking them. This recipe is made with fresh sprouts, excuse me - cutie cabbage, and I could eat an entire pan of them all by myself. I did. Twice. Now I need to go to the store again. So I urge you to try this recipe with fresh sprouts and then tell me what you think. I didn't put any cheese on mine - I sprinkled it with balsamic vinegar right before I devoured it all. It made me feel like I was biting the ears off a chocolate bunny - only without the empty calorie guilt.
